What’s been happening:

Now, at least, I'm paid (by the government no less) to do this television production stuff. Back when I was a student, I had to "pay" (PSU) in order to do (or learn) this television production stuff. Nice reversal of fortune. Oh wait! I get it now. That's how it's supposed to be! Fond memories writing for and working with colleagues at the Schuylkill Collegian, ditto that with regards to WDFM (1000 watts, stereo FM - no static at all) at University Park. Speaking of campus radio, I especially remember the fun engineering remotes of our complete game coverage on location from the skybox at Beaver Stadium during football Saturdays....And for the news and features department - also enjoyed producing and editing the sound effects, etc. for a (tediously long) 5-minute radio special on the re-entry of NASA's old Skylab space station. Skylab? OMG! That so long ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
